At the age of nine, Jordi proposed his parents to sign a contract containing his domestic obligations, in return for a weekly pay. This early vocation led him to study Law and Business.

In 2015, after more than 15 years of intense professional experience in leading Spanish law firms such as Uría Menéndez and Deloitte Legal, where he was partner and Board member, Jordi considered that launching a boutique law firm could be both an exciting venture and a great way to offer legal advice to non-conformist clients, by attracting at the same time the best young talent to an environment rich in human values.

Jordi also combines law practice with committed academic experience. Since 2007, Jordi has taught M&A, corporate law and contracts in the LL.M programs of some of the most reputable universities in Spain, including ESADE Business & Law School, Pompeu Fabra University and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

In 2013, Jordi was recognized with the 40Under40 award granted by the prestigious Iberian Legal Group, and he takes special pride in having been annually selected by his peers to be included within “Best Lawyers” in the Corporate-M&A section since 2015.

Martí decided to follow his grandfather’s footsteps and become a lawyer. He completed his bachelor degree in Law and the LL.M in Professional Legal Practice at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), where he also successfully achieved a degree in Administration and Business Management, which allows him to have a deeper understanding of the finance matters that arise in corporate transactions.

Looking for international experience, he also attended a six-month program at the School of Business and Economics in Maastricht (Netherlands).

Martí joined Maristany in 2016 and since then he keeps growing along with the firm, in which he has become a key element in customer service and in training the younger lawyers. Since 2021 he combines the practice of Law with teaching in different undergraduate programmes.

Active and outdoorsy, he loves mountaineering along with his dog. He also likes to travel the world and to discover countries with unpronounceable names.

Daniel graduated in Law at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) within the top three students (2017), and completed his LL.M at UPF – Barcelona School of Management afterwards, being the highest-ranked student (2018).

His passion about Law led him to juggle his studies and teaching-support and research tasks in the Law Department at Pompeu Fabra University.

Since joining Maristany in 2018, the firm where he has been trained, Daniel has been able to develop his vocation within an environment which is committed to rigor and professional excellence, and firmly believes that combining knowledge of Law and businesses is the best tool for promoting the interests of clients in both transactional and litigation environments.

Outside the office, he spends a good part of his time on his bicycle, living unique experiences and so far having ridden enough kilometers as to complete a round-the-world trip.

Thanks to the famous television series “Suits,” Pol experienced his first contact with the legal profession when he was a high school student. His passion for law and business persisted, and, some years later, he decided to pursue the prestigious Double Degree in Law and Business Administration at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), which included a semester at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium).

Curious by nature, Pol combined his studies with the participation in student organizations related to entrepreneurship and law, highlighting his volunteer work with the Pompeu Fabra University Legal Clinic (an initiative that makes legal knowledge available to vulnerable groups). He also completed an internship at the 38th Court of First Instance of Barcelona, where he could live the day-to-day functioning of the civil courts.

After completing his double degree studies, he pursued a Master in Professional Legal Practice at the “UPF – Barcelona School of Management”, with a focus on commercial, bankruptcy, and financial law.

Pol joined Maristany in 2021 with the desire to be a part of an innovative law firm and to be trained as a lawyer with a broad understanding of the business environments in which he advises.

Aside from the law, Pol spends his spare time reading, and listening podcasts of all kinds.

Núria is a cheerful and outgoing person. Before starting her graduate studies, she did an internship in a Notary’s offices, where she had her first approach to the legal profession and confirmed her vocation to become a lawyer. Later, during her university studies, she had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the court’s functioning during an internship in the Barcelona courts, which led her to become interested in dispute resolution.

She obtained her degree in Law at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and further completed her LL.M at “UPF – Barcelona School of Management”, being one of the most outstanding students of her generation in both programs.

Núria joined Maristany in January 2021, where she has found the balance between the rigorousness and a relaxed work culture. Since then, she learns the legal profession and specializes in the areas of corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution.

But not everything is articles and jurisprudence for Núria, who is always asked by her friends about her restaurants’ choices, as she is a renowned gourmet (vegetarian). She is also passionate about La Costa Brava, where she usually retreats on weekends.
